Heh-- no drowning! Slowfuckya's brother Glasshoppel was notorious for setting trails with long freshwatrer swims - even in November, when the water was nearly freezing. Until I stopped him, he seriously planned to swim a rope across the Danube River for a trail marker; the Danube is over a half mile across and runs swiftly at about 9 knots -- and is one of the five busiest rivers for commercial shipping in Europe . . . .

Yikes! I though we had some dastardly hares here. There are lots of swamps around and some of our weaker elements won't even show up for certain people's trails for fear of ending up neck deep in the sucking mud. My trail ended up being pretty good today even though we couldn't go with our original plan; and everyone survived!
