it's not the heat...yes it is
I think the weather is making me manic. I had to run an errand for work and I don't know if it was the Hellish temperature or the giant tea and ciggie I caught while I was out but I was awake and almost chipper by the time I got back. Terrible sleep last night. The cat left a "nice" air conditioner that we put in the bedroom since it's been so damn hot lately. The f'ing thing is loud as hell and has developed a new whine or rattle every night since we put it in. The ~17th time it woke me up, I turned it off. Two stupid things that bother me:
1. abbreviating Live Journal "eljay" WTF? It's, initials- not a word.
2. censoring "fucking" into "effing". It's F'ING, a contraction, people. Give me a f(uck)ing break.
That is all (until I find more things that unnecessarily irritate me).

So, hadn't talked to the cat since the big blow out a few weeks ago. We played phone tag for a few days earlier in the week but hadn't gotten touch. Today I finally got the low down.
