Respected Oshitari-san,
I write to you formally because, unfortunately, this will be going on file. I would like to offer you an executive position at Atobecorp's Tokyo division. Our vice-CCO (namely, in charge of liason and co-ordination with international branches of Atobecorp, a position that is shared with another vice-CCO in charge of the same within Atobecorp's Tokyo Head Office) has recently requested a transfer to our English office. This leaves me in a difficult position, as I do not believe any staff working directly below our former vice-CCO would be capable to follow in his footsteps, possessing neither the education nor the natural qualities required for the job.
While the position does not offer many, if any, opportunities for promotion, being at the very top of Atobecorp's promotional ladder, both the benefits and the wage are extremely desirable.
Off the record, Yuushi, please don't go.
Yours sincerely,
Atobe Keigo
CEO and President of Atobe Multinational Corporation Ltd.
