I'm so sorry about your roomates. That would soooooooo piss me off; I would go mad and kill a roomate (not advised to do so =P) After reading about your door problem, the first thing that came into mind was to set up something that would purposely make the door fall the next time your roomate were to slam it...have it barely hanging off the hinges or something. That would be funny!!! However, it would be difficult to pull off.

have you thought about getting a different roommate? that sounds like what my old roommate said about the person i subletted from..maybe try and socialize with people in other grad programs at the school? i say the same thing about not confronting my roommate about her messinness and desire to cook late at night but someday i will regret not saying anything i think.
