this is actually not such a bad state of affairs! your rent doesn't sound unreasonable, especially for so much space! and even though i know what you meant, "a princess salary" sounds like it should be able to cover that and so much more. haha.

i remember the post-long-term-relationship-breakup feeling. it gets better. even though i didn't miss john, i missed having a boyfriend, if that makes sense. it'll pass. and it sounds like you're doing remarkably well for yourself in the meantime.

*hugs* you know Jon and I are here for you, stress and all. Sounds like you found a nice place, anyway--good size, near work, not too tied down. And it will be nice to have your own space and not have to share it. (At the very least it'll be more relaxing.) Got pictures? :-)

oh, and congrats on Oliver! Not sure I actually said so earlier, but it's pretty cool that you have a solo. Everyone can hear how awesome and amazing you are.
