It has been quite some time since I've been assigned a client, but I suppose that is to be expected. Sometimes, I grow concerned that this recession will be the end of us lawyers, though I don't suspect it will be as bad. I can only hope that there is an incline to come. That will surely do all of us some good ( Read more... )

I thought the recession had been hitting the courts awfully hard. You sound as though you have a lot of information or commentary regarding this. Would it be too much of me to ask you for perhaps an interview of some sort? I mean, you are a professional, Mr. Beoulve, and I'm sure you could certainly shed some light for the theory of my presentation.

I'm no economist, and I've no actual knowledge of how this recession will have an impact on the court system. Small claims remain to be a stronghold, as litigants of both sides still continue to file claims despite our economic downfall.

Though I must ask, what sort of presentation is it that you are required to do?

Even if you can't speak factual, you've got the experience, and again, the professional stance on the position. That's better than an aspiring stance like mine.

My presentation dealt more with international courts of law, but even something as small as analysing the local recession's consequences isn't an ill step to take.

If you are interested in an interview, I am able to invest some free time.

Ah, a criminal lawyer. I see that my dearest sister has already found you, Mr. Beoulve.

It seems that way, yes. Though it's a bit unfortunate that I neither have her name nor yours.

Ah yes, please excuse us as we are both quite excited to find someone experienced in law.

My name is Ephraim Preston and she is my twin sister Eirika Preston.

Ahh, well met. Both of you.

Though it may seem like a professional at this field, keep in mind that I've not had my certifications for very long. And by that, I mean a little more than just 3 months.

I do, however, appreciate the confidence. I know how it must feel to go through all the tutelage and the education just to be in this profession.

It does seem that things are getting worse, with the recession not showing any sign of stopping...

Though I'm sure things will start getting better soon.

I sure hope so. Though, it seems that it is taking a turn for the better, though in very small steps.

How are you, Teta?
