It's fun, it's harmless, and yet...exciting. I too am a foodie. ^^

In my free time I am usually reading about something awful or something edible.

However, you do know that such unusual eating habits, particularly not letting food touch is a bad psychological sign?

At least it sounds like you're on your way to concurring such limitations!

Ditto! I have tons of recipes book marked and love checking out sites like cake wrecks. Its just too much fun.

I was just a weird, weird kid. I think it had to do some sort of "one food cannot taste of the other" rationalization. It wasn't to any sort of level where I'd freak out or be unable to eat if they happened to touch though.

That's not even an issue at all now though I still do have my strange habits like the spoon bit. I don't even think about that one.

Haha, I know how you feel! Whenever I go to Seattle, most of my money goes towards FOOD. ^^; Seattle can be so evil, with all their different kinds of food and restaurants (esp. the wide range of great Asian stuff, omg...yum.)

I've actually been experimenting with cooking a lot more in the past few years, I find it fun and a bit therapeutic. I was a picky eater as a child, too, so I find it funny sometimes how much I love trying new things. XD

One of my fave Feeds is a blog TasteSpotting: http://syndicated.livejournal.com/tastespotting/profile I LOVE it! I've even picked up a few recipes from there over the couple of years I've been following it now (though I've only tried actually making maybe one or two ^^;)

Lol. Its like how I know I'm going to blow a good portion of my savings if I ever go to Japan on things like mochi and sushi and other delectable treats.

Thankfully, here in NY we have amazing lunch specials which save me $$$. I can get three sushi rolls, a soup and salad for $12 at my favorite place in town.

Totally adding TasteSpotting btw. I love finding new recipes - I'm trying this one ASAP.

Oh, JESUS, if I ever go to Japan, that's where most of my money'll be going: authentic, non-pre-packaged Japanese food FTW ♥

Yeah, lots of places in Seattle have great prices, but...I tend to go overboard cuz I'm a piggy and get more than I can eat so I can get LEFTOVERS >D Mwahaha~

Oooooh, that sounds AMAZING. SERIOUSLY. YUM.
They recently posted a simple recipe for Oreo Truffles...I can't seem to find the link, but they seem so amazingly simple that I totally wanna try to make 'em.

Food, clothing and cute stuff - that's where all my money would go for sure.

Oreo truffles sound amazing. Definitely would love to try that.
