Oh, yeah, I heard your girlfriend got, like, hurt or something. What happened with that?

I wasn't taking to those things too well...I told her to run ahead downstairs. But one of those things swooped down, she got in front of me, before they could get to me, and the next thing I knew, one of them leaned over her- It was like the sucked up all her light, but she didn't fade away to nothing.

She got...uh...well she was still breathing and alive, but she wouldn't talk and she looked sort of...blank, almost asleep...

She snapped out of it, but it was longer than a day, she was like that.

Oh. That sounds pretty lame. But I guess she was okay, like, after all?
