Calls had been made, and family and friends had orbed1 or driven to New Orleans to join in the waiting as Phoebe continued her labor. Cole and Sam would emerge to make reports, flail, and then return to her side.

Isabel had claimed a semi-comfortable chair in the corner of the waiting room and settled in for a long wait.

"Want me to get you anything?" Wyatt offered.

"I'm good for now," Isabel smiled. "But if those goes on into the middle of the night? We're going to need lots of coffee."

Wyatt nodded. "Hopefully the coffee from the machines here is tolerable. Or I'll have to find a Starbucks in another time zone to orb to."

Piper made Wyatt orb her here as soon as she had heard about Phoebe. She was, of course, fretting just a bit.

"She'll be fine," Drake said. "But maybe we should boil some water or something."

"I'm sure that won't be necessary," Piper said. "The doctors know what they're doing. I think."
