[The PCD crashes to the ground and flickers on, skidding away from Tieria.
He looks ragged and out of breath, staring severely at something (or someone) off screen. His eyes weren't the only thing pointed in that direction, as it seems that he'd finally found something to waste his bullets on.]
God dammit.

Static was starting to corrupt the transmission--or was that the fire making such a vile sound over the feed? Either way, she had a creeping fear that she wouldn't be able to rely on Tieria's PCD for coordinates for much longer. She had to get the data transmitted onto her senshi devices. They were much more reliable.
Besides, she had to make sure a healer was on the way.]
Are there any healers near coordinates x,y? [She finally took a moment to glance down at her PCD. She was close, but who knew what obstacles would thwart her path.]

As well as Mercury's message. Healers. This is where his real mission only starts.
Not wasting any more time, he enters the coordinates into his device and rushes in her direction, fighting the unspeakable pain that dulls his senses. ]
I... I'm on my way!

Not when she had left things as they were...
She wasn't sure how much time elapsed before she zeroed in on the site--it felt too long, but with the rush of data fed into her visor, mere seconds often contained the knowledge of hours' worth of research. She hoped now was one of those cases where the seeming hours were at the very least minutes. Seconds, preferably.
The roof had caved in, tails of fire lashing out madly through the futile ruins that remained. Fire was devouring everything, and the force of the heat caused Mercury to raise her arms to shield her face.]
There's no way he could...[Her voice shook, voicing the obvious fear. Furrowing her brow, she steeled herself. Even so, she couldn't forgive herself if she ( ... )

Paralyzed with fear, he couldn't even bring himself to watch the whole feed, quickly ending it as soon as Mercury's message showed up. It was too muchWhoever is at fault here, they will not get away unpunished, he swears as he makes his way through the fire, making use of all possible shortcuts along the way. The magic barriers that he placed with such great precision before finally break, rendering him vulnerable to the raging element once again, but even the edge of his coat catching on fire isn't enough to slow him down in his mission. Hurriedly, he whispers a few magic spells to counter the flames, hissing as the fire eventually reaches his skin, leaving small marks. Fortunately, the situation calms down a bit as he ventures further, ( ... )

And then? She's nearly crying.
He means too much to her. She can't have that, not with Naraku. Not with anyone. She...she has to let go. Now, before it's too late.
She finds him quietly, in his moment of dying, and attempts to put out the flames, but instead she makes them worse. And without a sound, she leaves, not even bothering to say goodbye. Just letting him burn.
It's better this way, if he thinks she's really a bad guy, like Inuyasha told him.]

Tieria could hear a scuff on the ground near him, and he tried to focus his attention on that noise. Something to concentrate on, that wasn't screaming. He blinked hard, and more tears of pain fell from his eyes, clearing his vision a little.
Was that... Kagura? He gritted his teeth and slowly moved his arm towards her, reaching out.] Ple- [He couldn't even get his throat to form a single word. It ached. Burned.
And he was still reaching towards her when the flames erupted in an even fiercer fury. Tieria's back arched, he found his voice, and screamed again.
Then she was gone, and he could not remember anything more painful than this.]

[This was not happening. No. This could not be happening. He couldn't save everyone, he knew that, but he was supposed to be able to save the people he cared about. He's running now, trying to find his friend.]
Please no...
[He barely breathes out.]
Tieria can you hear me? Please tell me you can hear me.

Okita knew that he was simply a tool to kill, but that didn't mean he didn't want to protect people he came to know. He grabbed the hilt of his katana and clutched it tightly, furious at himself for being so useless.
Frustrated, he gritted his teeth, wondering if there was still a point to rush to that place.]
