WHEN: Week 05, 'Another Brick in the Wall' / Wednesday, January 4, 2009 / 12:24 PM
WHERE: The Library!
WHO: Professor Edward Reed-- and anyone interested in History of Magic?
History of Magic wasn’t Edward’s favorite subject nor had it ever been. Something about it was so very not-enthralling... With the exception of today, Edward would prefer to ignore the subject. Though, the sudden protest of the students got the old History of Magic gears working in his head. Of course, he could’ve gone to ask Professor Binns what his opinion on the matter was, but... could he trust that old ghost anyway?
Edward was a man who preferred to trust his own gut feeling anyway.
So, to the library he went. After all, he had cancelled his classes like most of the other professors.
Turning pages like a madman, Edward searched four different books for something- anything- a proclamation, an official declaration... Something that could get the Ministry out of Hogwarts’ hair.
Racial persecution. He could’ve sworn that something existed that could protect the rights of the poor Muggleborn students at the school... Edward heaved a sigh and ran his hands through his hair. This was so aggravating. Never before had he searched this hard for something. After awhile, he was beginning to think that this Muggleborn-related declaration didn’t exist...
And if it didn’t? Well, he would feel like an idealistic idiot.
Feeling like there was no hope left, Edward simply buried his face into his crossed arms atop the table. There was a sinking feeling in his stomach, and he had no idea how to get rid of it. Were the students going to be all right?
