( She does remember that Morgan has a dog, but it's a fleeting thought that last time she was over, Clooney showed her how he learned to play dead. The memory of it doesn't faze her. JJ loves dogs. )

This is a great story! I especially appreciate you pairing JJ & Morgan together, as it's something I don't recall seeing on the series. :)

This is a great JJ fic! I've been wondering if there was something that addressed her fear of dogs and this does so beautifully. Her fear is very tangible and I like how Derek is aware that it's real and doesn't downplay it. Great story!

Holy hell. I was seriously tearing up at multiple points in this fic. So many kudos. You nailed JJ and Morgan, in my opinion. Just, absolutely nailed them. And I adore how well trained (of course he would be!) and intuitive Clooney is in this.

I'm so glad I saw this story in a list of Morgan fic recs: http://luvtheheaven.tumblr.com/post/161343250427/freakingdork-criminal-minds-appreciation-week - it's such an amazing tribute to both Morgan and JJ and to everything I believe is accurate about phobias and dissociation and what should've lasted more than one episode for JJ and utilizing the canon fact that Morgan has a dog and i just love every single detail in this thing.
