Hi! As you well know, this is the community for the xxxholic minibang challenge! We are going to have five months of fun and writing! It's gonna be great.

There is a basic rundown of the rules at the profile, and a further one here. It has been borrowed from the khrminibang , and edited a bit for the fandom and stuff

Something that happened back when I did blind_go that was a lot of fun were the support threads and weekly chats. The support post was just where people panicked over the deadline, spammed silly things, talked about what they were writing, etc. It was usually screened from the public due to the nature of that challenge, that wouldn't necessarily have to be the case here. The weekly chat was a scheduled chat room time on AIM where people could get together and talk about fandom, the challenge, etc.

I don't know if people would be interested or if you'd want to do either of those things, butit really helped me feel like I was closer to everyone and an active part of the fandom. Figured it couldn't hurt to suggest it.

I think both of those sound like great ideas. :D Once the bang officially starts, I'll put up a post. I keep really weird, unstable hours, so Iunno if I'd be able to keep to a weekly chat room, but we could schedule a time and people could just show up. :D

I think the way they usually did it is a few people agreed to be available for the first part to invite anyone in who needed it, then a second shift of people (usually in a much different timezone) would take over later for those who couldn't make it earlier. After a while people started knowing everyone's screennames and it wasn't as necessary to have designated people.

There is a prompt post, actually, where prompters post prompts as comments and you can choose. It's two entries above this one, I think.

Can you provide a link so I can find the dang thing? Otherwise, I'm not going to be able to pick a prompt to write for.

I nearly missed this. Cutting it clooooose. X.X Yikes! I'm signing up! I'm signing up for the writing! I just need to know, where do we send or post this stuff? >.> I mean, we have to get it to the artist who'll be drawing it right? So... Ummm... How? ^.^;

Don't worry about sending anything anywhere just now. Just write! You won't need to send anything to your artist until late June, and we'll talk about artist assignments and such then, so never fear! :D
