Holiday Wishes!
Happy Holidays everyone - My name is Sharon - I live with my wonderful pooch Sally and my three gerbils - I knit and crochet and teach both at my local Michael's - I also love Pirates and pirate related things - I have included my wishes below - I am off to look for wishes I can grant!
My Wishlist:
1) Yarn - I prefer natural fibers/blends over 100% acrylic and prefer basic yarns (No fun fur/boa/boucle please) - I think it would be fun to make a project with yarn from all over the world
2) Bamboo or Wooden knitting needles - I would love to try a some of the Harmony Wood needles from Knit Picks - I already own the Options set so I would just need the tips or DPNs
3) A knitting bag with the Jack Rackham Pirate Flag on it - it is the one used in Cutthroat Island - it is the flag with the skull and crossed swords instead of crossed bones - if you type Jack Rackham in Google a picture of the flag will come up.
4) Bath and Body Works Wallflowers refills in the scent Sensual Amber. I love this scent.
5) A Playstation II in good working condition - used is fine as long as it works...
6) Treats for my dog Sally - I adopted her in September - she had been in a no kill shelter for three months at that point - she is a sweet Whippet mix named after Sally in Nightmare before Christmas because her markings make her look like a patchwork dog - I can send you a picture if you like - just send me an email or comment here
7) A donation to a your local Pet Charities so other pets who have not been adopted can have a good holiday
8) Rainbow Striped Socks - I need some frivolous socks - hand knitted would be wonderful but I understand the time and work that takes and will accept any form of frivolous socks
9) Pirate Themed Jibbitz or Charms for my Crocs
10) A donation to your local women's shelter so the unfortunate ones there can have a better holiday - am sure they need clothing, toys, and toiletry other items as well as cash donations.
