A friend posted a link to zir wishlist on zir open blog, but I got "access denied". Is this community readable only by members? If so, well, that's not a problem, but I wish you would mention it in this post. Yes, now that I think about it I know it's a standard LJ option for communities (right?), but not all communities apply it, and not all of us are familiar with all the myriad options. Please?

You're missing my point: “I wish you would mention it in this post.” I wasn't asking you to change the defaults: I was asking you to state them up front in the sticky post, so new members as well as non-members following members' links (like me) would know right away. As it is, I found out by walking into an invisible wall, getting bruised, and having to ask "What's that about?"

Hello - I just submitted my wishlist and got the message that it is pending in the queue - but unfortunately, while I ran out of items and decided to go ahead and list my Amazon wishlist as #10, I forgot to link to it! Should I resubmit, or will it be okay to revise the post (if it's accepted) just to add that?

Sorry about the delay! It seems all the moderators were on vacation at the same time, and we didn't communicate that well (also, we so rarely get posts after the 25th). It's accepted now.

A late thought as the season's pretty much over, but: Could you remove or update the broken code in the profile that appears as the ImageShack yellow frog? It makes the place look neglected which it really isn't.
