Hello, everyone! I've been sitting here for the last four hours fulfilling wishes and I'm so happy! I thought I'd post my wish list and see if others are feeling benevolent! My name is Viannah and I'm a senior attending college in Pennsylvania. I like anime and manga (especially of the yaoi/shonen-ai variety), poetry, my doggy and kitties, and the New York subway. I'm not kidding about the last one; growing up in Los Angeles really made me appreciate public transportation (even if it's somewhat sketchy in places). So, anyway, here's my wish list. For those of you who have sent/bought/made me something, here are my thank yous!
1. Pirates Constructible Strategy Game packs and/or Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. I adore PotC; a couple of years ago when I asked for Curse of the Black Pearl for the holidays, I actually didn't receive it--even though it was the only thing I really asked for, if you know what I mean--because everyone I asked just figured that someone else would get it for me! Silly people. I would've been totally fine ending up with more than one copy (I could've spread the Johnny Depp love!), but nooooo. ~_^
2. Lost Girls, by Alan Moore. I've been on the edge of my seat for this book to come out and now that it finally has, I haven't been able to scrounge up enough money to get it! Used is totally fine. If someone doesn't want to part with their copy, I'll even just borrow it (I'll be extra careful!) and send it back when I'm done reading it.
3. Any Superchic[k] CD (or CDs). My favorite band and I don't own any of their CDs!! *cries* ;-;
4. Postage stamps. I love sending (and receiving!) snail mail, but the mailing doesn't happen without proper postage! Pretty stamps are good, but really, any (usable) stamps of any value (from $0.01 to $20+) are great.
5. Gravitation OVA and/or box set. Been on the top of my "anime that I must buy" list for a while, but I've been strapped for cash pretty much since that list began! Used is fine; but please only legal copies.
6. Any (or all!) of the four I My Me! Strawberry Eggs discs. Like #5, used is fine; but please only legal copies.
7. Samurai Champloo disc 1, 5, 6, and/or 7. I have discs 2-4. Same deal with #5 and #6; used is fine, but please only legal copies.
8. Spine-Worx back realignment device. I have crippling, chronic back pain and although my boyfriend is a genius in massaging away the pain and knots, he's not often around. I would adore anyone who could send me one of these (or something like it!). Used, new, whatever; as long as it works!
9. Money, via check or money order or cash or PayPal. Basically: however you'd like to send it! I'm up to my eyeballs in credit card debt and student loans and every little bit helps (even 50 cents!). My PayPal email is geminiangelus[at]yahoo[dot]com.
