Why are these questions always in my head?

Today Melissa Steadman came back from OU and visited our choir class. Along with herself, she brought several of her fellow musical theatre major friends who introduced themselves and performed for our class. As I sat there on the risers listening to one of the girls sing for us I got tears in my eyes because I kept thinking that this year will ( Read more... )

if we were peas we would definately be in the same pod...(its amazing how deep i can be with my metaphors...haha)

i've been thinking these exact same thoughts lately. i am so scared im choosing the wrong thing and that i will eventually learn the hard way that i did so. however, all i can say is go with your gut. do what you love and what u think will make u happy. i mean if worse comes to worse u can always switch majors but chances are u'll choose the rite thing and be wonderfully happy with what you get!

i miss u and can't wait to hopefully see u at region! much love!

Do what you love. Follow your gut even if you're not sure whether or not you can trust it. Even though you think you don't have any answers, just keep looking and they'll come. So many people have felt what you're feeling, including me - but I think that, for the most part, they all turned out alright. Whatever direction you head, I'm sure you'll leave a trail for all of us to see. So don't make life more complicated than it has to be.

Hey! The end rhymed!

the same things have plagued me as well, all i can say is, what makes you the happiest, do you smile and laugh and feel ecstatic while writing an essay or studying the bible? more so than singing and dancing, you can love the lord just as much and still be a positive influence on many if you go the music route, whats stopping you? and plus, you dont have to stop loving english either, for that matter, whatever makes you happiest. that actually isnt an easy question to answer but, its a start i think, anyway, im always here, so best wishes in your endeavors and if this is your last musical year...then enjoy it to its fullest, thanx so much for helping me out today
ps you sound better than those college students in my opinion

I didn't read any of the quicker-comment-poster's comments, but I have this to say: You certainly have gifts that can be intertwined. I think if you pursued religion or education you could deffinately use music to further your affectiveness at your vocation.
