Do you ever realize how much things are not like they are in the movies? See, you can really look at the perfection-based happy endings of movies in two ways. Let me clarify for starters that not all movies are like this, but I am basing my observations on the fates of various Disney princesses/romantic movies.

Number One (The Optimist): Sees

Is there no happy medium? I feel like you can let yourself dream of these loves, but still realize it will never be quite like that, without being pessimistic. It's like the Disney romances are a goal you know you can't get, but you don't mind trying to get as close to it as you can. Because the closest you can get... maybe that's true perfection.
