as usual, i was supposed to being doing school work, but instead i did something else. i cleaned out the boxes under the desk in my room, so i could set up my computer. these were boxes packed, like, two and a half years ago when my family and i moved into the house we're living in now

Mix tapes are way better. But yeah...tape decks aren't too common these days. I offer to make mixes for my friends, but nobody can play them! Yesterday, I cleaned the house and decided to only listen to mix tapes other people had made me. I busted out a huge stack and it was absolutely wonderful to hear people's records crackling and awkward pauses between songs. You're definitely right about it being a lost art...
