I have been cleaning out my download folder and yesterday I finally got it down under 7 GB. 6.7 GB to be exact.

THE HORROR! )

Go Holley! *\o/*

Yesterday after the chat on this the day before I decided to load up body shop -takes 40 minutes at least! I went through my adult female everyday full body outfits. Yeah that's how many pages are in there that I only have the time to do one freaking section. I think I deleted about 50 pieces and went right to the back of the catalogue where the photoskinned stuff lurks. Not that I got rid of all of it, some I still like. :P But there was a lot of stuff that I wondered why on earth I'd kept so long, oversized belt buckles, blurry patterns and weird creases and necklines. Trouble is today I went on a spree and added 21 folders of clothes. *faints* Some were links from chat -blames you both! Yeah you can see how well I’m doing at decreasing things. -_-

Don't forget to use Delphy's Organizer to get rid of the meshes of the clothes you deleted. I learned the meshes do not get deleted whe you get rid of stuff in CAS.

I used body shop, but I guess it's the same deal as cas. I don't know how you stand to delete things in cas it's really slow.

Got to be careful with Delphy's, as I've heard sometimes it can say meshes are orphans when they are not so I'll be putting those in a file and checking before I dump any. But yes, the older clothes would still have meshes, with the newer things it was mostly recolours, as in how many shades of this green dress do I need? So I still need the meshes to all of those.

Yeah, it said some stuff from the Sims store were orphaned. It gives an option to move the files to a folder, so that's what I did. Besides the Store Stuff everything else was garbage.

Well, thanks, because I didn't know that either. (I need to kill some CAS stuff.) *Hunts for Delphy's Organizer*

Congrats on that! Really! I'm sort of afraid to use the Compressiorizer! :( And I SWEAR I have Orphaned meshes, and I used Delphy's but all it did was bring up default replacements and pregnancy morphs. -_- I found maybe one mesh that was truly orphaned. But I must have more! Or even recolors! I have so much junk in my downloads folder! ;-;

I wish I had the strengthen to delete things like you! Go you! I'm so happy for you!

The organizer counts any mesh that doesn't have a separate recolor file as orphaned. Default replacements and the TS2 store files usually have the textures in the same package as the mesh, so it counts them as orphaned. So you have to kind of pick through to find what doesn't count as those things.

Yeahh... I noticed that. :) I was just disappointed, you know? I've kept telling myself the reason why my game takes 20+ minutes to load is because I MUST have sine orphaned files floating around! Except... maybe I don't! :( So now I really have to delete some CC! :O
