People want as far away from Bush and "conservatives" as they can get. I put conservatives in quotes because Bush isn't really that conservative, IMHO.
It is not his name that concerns me it is what he is and what he will do to the country if he is elected. I am serious when I say that I would not be surprised if he tries to actually create a pure socialist state. He has already said he will dictate what we can eat, drive and what temperature we are to keep our thermostats set at. He has declared that he plans to raise taxes across the board, doubling taxes such as the Capital Gains (which will effect tens of millions that own stocks, mutual funds (IRA's, ROTH accounts, Pensions, ect ...) . You think Jimmy Carter was bad, hey, by the time he gets through we will be lucky if we all do not have the number 666 stamped on our foreheads. He is a Marxist and is surrounded by advisors and the like that are as well. He was schooled until his early teen years in a radical Islamic School in Indonesia. His wife hates this country and all of the "white" people that exist in it. It is going to be interesting and possibly the end of life as we know it. I only hope that the Military has the

There's plenty of time for B.O. to have an "Arkansas Suicide" before the Democratic Convention. If she they play it right, it can even be blamed on some NRA hard-liner ... giving the new nominee "a mandate" to confiscate all the guns.
I could care less what his middle name is, honestly.
I care that he is untested in the area in which he seeks office, and for somebody with so much supposed "passion," he certainly seems to lack conviction (based on his Senate voting record).
I also care that he is a Marxist who is riding the wave of identity politics as far as it will take him.
His middle name doesn't matter: AT ALL. Making ANY kind of deal out of it is just as stupid as the rumours going around about is he/isn't he Muslim, why didn't he saltue during the pledge of allegiance, blah, blah, blah.
These are NOT the critical issues, just generalized distractions because if you critically examined Obama you might critically examine McCain too and they don't want you doing that, it has to be "McCain's a hero and a good American, Obama isn't" when they're really both beyond shit.
Never once did I say his stupid name is the most important thing. It's not - not even close. But the fact he got this far (for a shitload of reasons) is insane.
