I can't pull for him for the nomination. I need to see how someone handles a political campaign first, before I'm willing to vest the nomination with them. I also would like to see how they handle legislation or governance. The senate/governor's mansion aren't just places to get experience; they're places for us to watch the candidate in action.
However, if he gets the nomination, I'll fall in line.
Still, after all our talk about experience, it's going to be hard not to look like hypocrites if we nominate someone with no government experience. However, he DOES have plenty of experience turning around failed enterprises... which may come in handy.
Yeah, I totally understand what you're saying, but career politicians just aren't doing what they should be doing with all that "experience." And Herman is fiscally conservative and fiscally responsible. He also isn't one to be pushed around.
