Oh goodness....

your Thanksgiving sounds lovely.

I spent mine in the capital of Guangxi Province (because we were in the middle of the trek to our regional conference 10 hours away) with two Brits, a Norweigian, a Phillipino, and my American boyfriend (who was sick) in Pizza Hut because as far as American food goes, it was either that, McDonalds, or KFC....no other western food to be found in the province and no one has an oven to cook.

I'm glad to hear you had such a good Thanksgiving.
I can completely relate with the homesickness that the day inspires though. I was definitely feeling it all week and weekend...

Thanks hon. And yes, the movie Elf does make me very very happy. However, it doesn't make the song "Santa Baby" any less gross. The singer of that song wants to jump Santa. There's no other way to put it.

Hope you're not too terribly homesick!
