ha, I got through the first three or four lines of French and then I quit. But I think I know what the first line says! It's been a long time since you've used your French, right? And you're beginning to "manquer" and you have some poetry in your breast ("tete"), hahhaha. Or something!

I think this poem is very much like...a self-portrait, no?

Hmm.. I don't follow you on the self-portrait resemblance, but you're almost right on about the French!
"tete", as in having a "tete-a-tete" with someone, means "head," not breast, you boob!

Well, I meant "self-portrait" as in, it sort of captures your life right now, or...something.

Also, I like the way you call me a "boob" right after saying that tete is not breast. Heh heh heh.

And you didn't tell me what manquer means!

Comme ca fait trop longtemps que je ne t'ai pas repondu!! Quel horreur! Pour son dos, Shawn a eu une chirugie et il est en train de se guerrir. J'ai termine finalement mon premiere annee comme prof au lycee. C'etait difficle dans tellement de facons que je ne peux meme pas les expliquer ici. Mais j'ai survecu! Je vais y retourner pour une deuxieme annee avant d'aller en France. Par rapport aux question des universites je ne sais pas encore. As-tu une idee ou tu veux aller faire ta maitrise? Dis-les moi, j'ai besoin de l'aide a choisir! A tout a l'heure cherie! Bisous!

La langue française me manque aussi! Trop! Mais il y a plusieurs gens qui travaillent avec moi qui parlent français et on va faire un petit repas français je crois, où on ne parle que français! Et je vais utiliser mon français au bureau eventuellement mais pas encore. Jenni m'a dit que tu vas venir à New York dans quelques semaines?!? Ça me fait tellement plaisir! Il y a même une chambre pour toi dans notre appart. Bon, je dois me coucher, mais on va bientôt se parler! Bisous bisous!
