SO I just got back from seeing two of Def Poetry Jam's finest on stage (Ms. Lisa Marie Gerturde Bower -- I wish you could have been there!) Shihan and Mayda Del Valle were there. I am desperately looking for one of Myada's poems. But until then...I'll satiate my love for spoken word by posting one from her

I mean they run the college circuit....I'm sure if a well meaning HAB Alumn went and knocked on Mr.Rossenburg's door...he'd be open to it.

You should pick up both Def Poetry Jam books, and I plan to attempt to find the DVD's used. Shihan also has a new CD. If I rip it to my ipod, which I'm sure I will...I'll try to post a link or something
