Debt free is definitely a great way to be. But we need to remember that the experiences we can have in college are invaluable, memories can't have a price put on them. Have you thought about filing for Cal Grants? I bet you could get hooked up.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I agree with the cal grants system. Sorry, but it is a horrible decision on your part to even consider such an idea to attemp working full time and try to give 110% to your education. Don't be so lazy and be smart about this. Grants only come to you if you go after them. Do the right thing. Go for the grants. :)

It couldn't hurt to apply. It's not like if you applied that you couldn't still work. You'd still be working, except at least you have an extra $5-10,000 in your pocket a semester to work with.

I was reluctant to apply myself, but a friend of mine encouraged me to do it. Even though it was an easy, 30 minute process I resisted. She had to pretty much hold my hand through the whole thing. But it's really worth it. It's what lets me live the lifestyle I have, being able to concrentrate more on the things that matter to me and less on having to work all the time.
