Well, some guys (and girls too) just don't want families. And to date a girl (or a guy) with a kid would be getting an instant family whether you want one or not.

Y'all just wanted 2 different things. Nothing wrong with that. I mean, if it had been reversed, and you'd never had a kid at all and was dating a guy with a daughter, you'd prolly be all like, "Um... that's too much baggage."

I know b/c I've not dated guys based solely on the fact that they had kids. The thing is though, if that's how you feel then just DON'T date them at all. Don't start and then hold it against them. That's just wrong and hard on the kid too. Kids feel guilt about that stuff.

I know what you mean. I mean, i can understand someone not wanting to have kids, so choosing not to date someone with kids. But, why would you even start dating someone with kids if you knew that the person had kids.

Of course, I'm preaching to the choir, since you just said the same thing. heh.
