I really like my fish necklace, even thought it is now missing one of the fish beads and is unbalanced.
and I've changed my mind about Some Loud Thunder. It's so beautiful that I can't even describe it in words, but it makes my chest swell up when I listen to it and want to sob because it's so fucking gorgeous. The fact that I can change my mind about something like that so drastically makes me happy. That was kind of an embarrassing thing to write, but it's true. I don't think there are people who like listening to music more than I do. Maybe equals, but not more than me. Honestly.
Somewhere out there is a small metal fish. I would think that it would be a pretty exciting thing to find on the ground. More exciting than say, a penny, or something.
I think I will dedicate my wire sunfish to the lost fishbead. If I had thought to name all the fish on my necklace, I would have been able to name my sculpture after it.
The senior class will be gone forever in about a week or so. It's weird to think about how, a few months ago, I thought I would miss them. I won't now. I'm not close with any member of the senior class anymore. The only reason this seems strange is that I distinctly remember thinking that my senior year would be really lame because a lot of the people I actually talked to would be gone. I remember imagining hanging out with only Mandy and Stacey every day, with Phil, Josh, Akasha, Stephen, and Nick all gone. I guess I don't really have to worry about that anymore, since I barely talk to any of those people now, except one in awhile, in passing. I guess that's a little disappointing, but I like my friends now a lot too. It's just weird because I felt so strongly about it then. meh. whatever.
I want to go camping on the beach. Does anyone who will actually go through with that plan want to do it?
By the way, Gina, I hope you spent at least 90% of the concert thinking about Ale.
