well, i'll forever be hesitant to buy Microsoft again. their customer service is truly the pits. however, apparently my hour and a half of telling Microsoft that they're full of shit (i cussed a lot) produced results. i just got a replacement adaptor in the mail and it works.

so i'll be playing Gears of War 2.

so awhile back i bought a wireless adaptor for my Xbox 360. it didn't work. so i call Microsoft and i talk to some moron. finally, he gives me a reference number and i'm to ship the thing back to Microsoft (in Texas, because, you know, it's close to Mexico). i get to foot the bill for shipping and that's the last i hear about that ( Read more... )

Danielle and i got engaged.

so, since the last week of May i've moved into an apartment by myself, started a new job, got a cat, and bought a new car. these are some pretty big changes. i suppose there is no particular point to this post other than i find it really strange to think that not even two months ago, my life was completely different.

i prefer things now, though.

well i'm mostly settled into my new place. it's mostly just a matter of every once in awhile i need something that i then realize i've never owned. a roommate always did. like a knife block. so everyday pretty much i wind up at Target or some such place buying a ton of things like that ( Read more... )
