Yep, they surely do. Tell you what else, the seeds of everything we fear are already in us; without them, we wouldn't know to be afraid of them. But the fear will keep doing its job, keeping us away from the things that can hurt us, so don't worrying about becoming what you fear. Worry about the things you've made peace with.
