I still haven't recovered from the loss of Scans Daily. There just isn't another comic discussion board or community or whatever that had broad appeal, many different posters and commenters and lacked the usual comics fanboy idiocy so prevalent in pretty much everywhere, especially on the official boards. Nah... By all accounts, the man has been getting hate mail. SD was a big thing with a lot of members, after all. Plus, there's been and still is a lot of discussion about this in the comics journals all around the place. Even Gail Simone (a prominent DC comics writer) has been defending SD in PAD's journal. So, a lot of people more eloquent than me are already at it, I just needed to vent a little frustration. The misunderstanding that SD was a piracy comm was driving me up the wall.
