So why does she think I should care her opinion? Everything I've heard from her lately has been negative so why should any of it matter? I don't care about other people's opinions about the descions I make in my life. Whom I chose to talk to, hang out with, hate, love, resent, etc... all of those are personal descions made by me, and no one else ( Read more... )

It's your life, live it your way. Advice is great, opinions from friends/family can help people choose the 'right' path, but it's only truly the right one if YOU'RE happier in the end. He's a cool dude, you're smiling again, and that's what's important. (Plus Rob knows if he fucks this up he's a dead man walking :p) Glad to finally hear from ya and that aside from this argument everything's going well for you :)

Babydoll you know that I'm just like you and I support you in anything and everything that you do, as long as it makes you happy. to quote you "follow your heart as far as it will let you go" People aren't always going to agree with what you do, but as long as you are happy thats all that really matters. I'm sure she just wants what she thinks is best for you, but in reality you are the only one who knows whats best for you. I love you and I will stand by your decisions for forever, and if he really is making you smile than go for it, cuz you deserve it and so much more.
I'm going to say this one more time, b/c its the best guy advice you give me and are the reason Nic and I are still together, if he makes you happy (and I think he does) than fuck other opinions and go for it.
I'll be down next Friday, so we can spend the weekend together and I'm thinking maybe Friday needs to be a girls night out!
