Hey sweetness, it took me four years and the death of over six leopard geckos to learn that feeding them crickets always at some point leads to geckos catching a disease that makes them starve themselves to death. The egg crate that pet places put in the cricket containers get moldy and rot, which the crickets eat or become sick from, and then the geckos eat the crickets, and slowly die over a period of six months of anorexia that breaks your heart.

Get one of those disposable tupperware dishes instead, the long, short flat ones, sprinkle a shallow layer of oatmeal in it, and put in superworms for them to eat at their convenience. It's the only way to keep them from getting sick

Thank you hun. That sounds terrible. We love these little guys, and we'd hate for them to go through that. We're trying to get them onto mealworms, cos crickets are such buggers, and sadly that's what they've grown up on. This morning, our girl ate 13 mealworms for the first time. We now need to teach both of them where to find them in their vivs!
