Less than 6 months left
Yesterday marked the 6 month mark until mine and Jay's wedding. We are so excited. All day we would look at the time and guess what we would be doing 6 months from that time.

The Sweetest Note
Dad goes in for surgery in less than 2 hours. His surgery begins at 7 and he should be out between 11-12. The amount of support has been amazing. My staff at school has been amazing. Family and friends have been amazing. But I have one favorite story from yesterday ( Read more... ) -
"He's a lucky man"
My Dad was admitted to the hospital yesterday. He will be having open heart surgery tomorrow morning. The doctor told us to be prepared for at least 4 and up to 6 bypasses. Daddy hasnt been feeling well in about a month and Mom finally talked him into going to the doctor yesterday and the doctor sent him to the hospital immediately. The doctor ( Read more... ) -
1st day
There is always something exciting about the first day of school. I've been preparing for my 19 babies for weeks now. I cant wait to finally see them today!!!

It is official!
So yesterday was one of the best days of my life.
Jay came and picked me up around 8:45 and we started our journey. But before we got to far we decided we were hungry and stopped for a quick bite to eat. Then back on the road again to Camp Sumatanga.

Week 1 Reflections
Week 1 of Camp is through and it was a success. I was kinda worried about how the whole starting on Sunday ending late on Friday thing would work but I have to admit, Im a fan of it now. My New Car
So yesterday, my car died. I was still at camp when it decided that it no longer wanted to be driven. Late last night, it was towed back to Montevallo and this morning taken to Saturn of Birmingham to be repaired. Photo Contest
So the City of Montevallo hosted a photography contest to go along with their Earth Day celebration. Well photography seems to be my hobby of the minute so I spent one afternoon taking pictures and picked my favorite 5 and submitted them.
