Everyone I know is spending this weekend away with families or on vacation having quality “bonding time.” Im not saying that I want to go on vacation, because I really don’t care. I haven’t been on a vacation since ( Read more... )

i'm really sorry holly. I don't really know what to say, but i'm really sorry. I really hope things work out, maybe next year you can force your whole family to go to the fireworks together and then they'll realize how much they missed them too.

Don't let the past get you down, you always have the future.

(sorry about that, it was pretty corny I know.)

its okay michelle, and thanks, (and that line wasnt corny- its true) Idk, i really am living in the past though, I need a reality check, but everytime I think of the future it makes it worse because of the whole college thing. lol

Maybe you should say something to your parents. Say that you miss those old times or something, you know, say something that will really get them thinking. Maybe theyll want to change, and maybe theyll start to do things with you and craig again. And if they see how much you're enjoying it, maybe theyll make more of an effort to keep the family together. Idk, im not good for advice. But id try saying something. Like as youre walking out the door to go riding, just say like "i really miss the good times we used to have" or something to get them thinking. I dont know. I quote michelle "Don't let the past get you down, you always have the future. " ;)

thanks lyssa... And I actually have tried to tell them that I miss the old times, like I told my dad that I missed out trips to the barn, and all he said was that times changed and that it wouldnt be the same as it was before... and I guess he's right- it wouldnt be the same. But yeah, your right, there needs to be some kind of family interaction here, lol, so I might suggest it.
