gosh, I am such a crappy rider. This sucks! I tried doing what I originally thought would work to make bennie and I better, but the thing is, I just kept getting angry at him for every little thing he did. I cant hold him together anymore, my position sucks, and its my fault that he's being the way he is, yet I still punish him for the things that

try just going over to the barn and just sitting with him, idk like sit outside his stall. then maybe try a simple walk with him, like not riding him, but leading him. see if he feels more comfortable with you just leading. then try getting on him, but dont do it for form, dont do it to like work out, just go for a trail ride. forget about position, forget about what he is doing wrong, just go on a trail ride and let whatever happens, happen. maybe you both just need a break from pushing yourselves.
