Started to do this comment, but got intercepted by one of my 9 cats, wanting to share my bologna sandwich, (he also loves pasta with a passion !).
Hope all is going well with grams and her post surgery.
I can honestly say I have walked (a mile in your shoes) in a pair of shoes like yours before, and still do in some respects, and must say it is nothing less than an act of love to do so. There are times when it can be frustrating, to be sure, but "this to shall pass" comes to mind when it gets to be a heavy load sometimes. Not that we want the people to pass, but that things will change at some point.
It may sound a little strange, but "Thank You" for being good person in this world. It makes being in this world a little easier knowing that there are other good, caring persons among the many who aren't. Plenty of job openings (for good people), so few people that want to fill them, :) .
