The second one is the most darling thing I've read in ages. Seriously, my heart is all glowy right now. I love how you captured both of their insecurities and vulnerabilities and fears without making them seem overly emo or trite or weak. Hikaru with his routines and Pavel with his frenetic genius all-over-the-place-ness. The bits with Kirk, "No, he -- oh," Pavel says. "Yes, that is precisely what he suggested." and Sulu's offhand thought that Kirk must be behind the drumset. HAHA! I like how Sulu avoids the confrontation and how Pavel is so aware of his surroundings and notices the plants and the little details (but not the BIG PICTURE until it's obvious) and how he's got a favorite plant. Awww. And that poem is so utterly darling and dear. I love it. Sweet and awkward and so perfectly Pavel. *cuddles him* And I'm kinda a sucker for Hikaru calling him Baby in situations like this, so I'm completely swoony here. I absolutely adore this. Seriously, one of my favorite bits I've read in ages. Love, love, love. ♥

“The flute in this case is my penis?” Chekov says.
“Um. Yeah. It was -”
“You have to be clear about these things in Standard. There are colloquial usages that I'm not familiar with.”
“I -”
“Hikaru, it is a joke! Suck me, yes, go!”
