Title: The Unrecorded Hours Fandom: The Hunger Games Pairing: Peeta/Katniss Rating: R Spoilers: All for series Word Count: ~24,000 Summary: Katniss and Peeta in the weeks and months after the war.
Lolol. I just checked back at your journal to see if anymore Sulu/Chekov goodness had been posted and my eyes nearly popped out (in a good way) when I saw Hunger Games fic, and then they popped out (in a bad way) when I saw you were a Peeta/Katniss shipper (er, not to say you can't appreciate Gale/Katniss). Man. Lol, I totally don't mean this offensively. I'm just an ardent Gale/Katniss fan and I love your writing, so my hopes shot through the sky in one moment and then came crashing down in the next. :/
All good. I'm sure this fic is brilliant as usual. :D
She squeezes him against her, wraps her leg around his waist, wishes she was big enough to make him feel safe.
I love the constant reiterations here of big people who are supposed to be strong and small people who are allowed to not be. It's like an excuse for her, at first, for her own pain to be more relevant than his, simply because he's this bigger-than-her silent person.
this was bloody brilliant i forgot how broken they were post mockingjay and gahhh you know i don't think suzanne collins could write this better than you did.
I especially love this line. It just encompasses her feelings for him so well.“Where are you going?” he shouts. She doesn't answer, waiting to see if he'll chase after her and tackle her to the ground. She wants him to. He doesn't.
I'm in love with everything about this fic. It is pitch-perfect, heartbreaking and gorgeous. I loved it. Just amazing. I wish that this world would go on and on, I didn't want to stop reading it.
