I feel like I never know what to comment on your fics because they are always so, SO good it can only be expressed with a lot of keyboard banging. But I will try...

I love that you took a cute prompt like that, interpreted it wonderfully, and yet made it mirror!verse. It was just the right amount of sweet coupled with the intensity of their love. I know a lot of mirror!fic (including mine) is just pure harshness so I liked that you wrote them with actual feelings and emotions. And I always love when Sulu calls Chekov baby. Totally my weakness!

Thank you so much for reading and for the comment! I started not one but TWO versions of this in normal 'verse and had a third in mind by the time I finally realized that it would work well in mirror!verse. I'm glad you like this take on the mirror!them -- I have really enjoyed very harsh mirror fics, but I always see them as almost more vulnerable to each other than they are in normal 'verse when I write them as mirror!dudes.

And I always love when Sulu calls Chekov baby. Totally my weakness!

Me toooo ;____; I almost never go out of my way to use "baby" in fic, it just always ends up feeling right. :D

Thank you! Adorable is usually what I'm going for with mirror!verse, if I'm honest. ;)

I am like, FLOORED that you managed to get "baby" in a mirrorverse setting in a way that totally worked ;_____; I love how you write mirrorverses!! So lonely, it makes when Sulu and Chekov come together even more of a comfort, that they're finally able to lay in bed together and feel safe ;__________; Also, this was my prompt!! And I am so impressed with you giving it a mirroverse twist!! Ahah, that is so clever, and this is certainly playful and fun by those standards :3

gakldfgja ALSO~ I love Sulu making Chekov come over and over like it was no big d. ;_______________; ngjkadf. hot.

I REALLY DIDN'T MEAN TO fit my love for 'baby' in here, but then it ended up working!? And yeah I alway come at mirror!verse with 'how can I make this them' as opposed to 'how can I make this mirror!verse.' I want it to feel like them in the mirror!verse as opposed to the mirror!verse in them, if that makes sense.

asodfjiod this was your prompt!? I thought this one would be ~so easy~ but then I ended up laboring over it for three versions! It was worth it ~ I should send you my previous attempts, too, lol.

Sulu making Chekov come over and over is canon in any 'verse, for me ;__________;

Thank you for reading!! I like reading intense mirror!verse stories but I don't seem to have a lot of interest in writing it unless there's cute involved. :3

Oh my word YES.

I all but did a little dance when I saw this listed, and as is your way, it's even better than I was expecting (no matter how lovely a story I think you'll write, it delightfully shocks me by exceeding my anticipations). I love what you do with their dynamic, and all the more so spinning it through the Mirror, showing us what's inverted and what remains invaraibly true.

Thank you so much! Your comment made my afternoon. :)) I'm so glad you enjoyed this mirrorverse take on them ~ the only 'verse I can't conceive of is one where they wouldn't protect each other fiercely. ;--;
