I kept trying to finish this Kirk/Sulu fic, and kept getting stuck, and today I finally realized why - it's actually a Sulu/Chekov fic.

I don't think I've ever read anything you've written that I haven't loved. This was phenomenal!

Thank you so much! This fic drove me crazy because I really liked the beginning but couldn't make myself continue with it ... I didn't know it was going to be Sulu/Chekov until the moment that Sulu does in the story, heh! But once I did it was like ":DDDD" ~ EVERYTHING WORKED. :)

I have had THE SHITTIEST MONTH, and your comments made me very happy, so we're even. :))

It's pretty rare for me get more than halfway through a story and then think 'oh wait THIS is where this was going, okay, good!!' lol usually it's a terrible feeling to get derailed like that because it means a lot of rewriting/time wasted ... but here it was like realizing that this Chekov had always been in love with this Sulu and for Sulu the story wasn't ABOUT Chekov yet because he was still just a kid to him until after the battle - aodjfid so anyway yes, a bit like Little Shadow from Sulu's POV. I've been very nostalgic about that fic lately, haha, so maybe it was subconsciously on my brain here. :3

I think because of how much I like your stuff, Kirk/Sulu can never quite work out in my mind. Which is not BAD, it's just funny to read this lovely piece and feel like no matter what they try, it never quite sticks!

Be that as it may, this was hot, sexy, funny, sweet, sad, all that good stuff. And just in time for MY LAST MONTH OF SCHOOL EVER, OMGGGGGG. Seriously, this story is gonna help me power through to the end.

More? Please? I know you have a life, but I love reading your stuff so much :)

Thank you for reading! I like Kirk/Sulu, but I have to totally ignore the existence of Pavel if I write it, or I'll either drag him into a threesome or give him Sulu wholesale. This was an experiment, including Pavel as the friend, and yeah he stole Sulu away in the end. :)

Last month of school ever!!! Congratulations. :) I'm glad this story can help in its small way, lol.

I am planning more - I've got about 40 pages of a pure Sulu/Chekov fic written, and I want to finish and post it before my husband gets back in town on April 12. DEADLINES, I need them. I also have a couple of things I want to write this summer, a sequel to that mirrorverse one where Hikaru "dies" and one where they both have semi-abusive affairs with Pike before falling for each other. :x

Thanks again for the comment. :)

Dooood, if you can get that thing posted by April 12th I will be so stoked! :)

Abusive? Pike? Me thinks I would like to read all of these... Best of luck!

I will be, too, lol!

Wellll, abusive is probably too strong, except in the sense that he abuses his power as their instructor and takes advantage of their need to please ... and is amused by pitting them against each other academically and ~~sexually~~ loll - he's slightly wicked Pike, I guess. :x
