Oh how we love hurricanes

So for those of you who didn't know/didn't notice, we got hit by a big-assed hurricane named Juan on Sunday night. After spending the afternoon doing the usual stuff - bringing in the patio furniture, wedging the garbage can into the kindershed, etc, we settled down for what we thought would be a good show, and not much else. NS gets hit by storms

Glad you're ok! I was a bit worried about you guys. The assumption of course being that if you're not logged in, you clearly don't have power. ;)

Glad to hear you are OK. I slept through Gloria in the 80s and ended up doing a lot of clean up afterward. Juan seemed (to us Yanks) to come out of nowhere. I am usually a weather geek, but it was meristem who asked me of youse were OK, then I started to get concerned.

Hope all is well otherwise.
