Snow, snow and more snow.

Well, we've been spat upon mightily by mother nature. We've been at home for the past two days, buried under 95cm (yes, 43 inches) of snow

Holy crap, that's insane! Aside from being completely snow-covered, are things okay? Utilities still functioning and all that?

We've been lucky enough not to lose power, though some people in the city have. Everything's been fine and we had plenty of supplies. We're starting to run out of milk now, but that's hardly the end of the world. :)

We did decide, though, that we need to invest in a better shovel. We have three - one small, one good scooping one and one (the most expensive) that has turned out to be a piece of crap. Too heavy to toss with, deadly with with a metal blade and impossible to slide along the ground without hitching on something and impaling the user on the handle. Oof.

Well, if you ever need to stake a vampire, just make 'em go shovel snow for you. Or something.

Glad to know that you're not powerless, though.
