I've only been learning to drive since like second weekend of january. And my instructor wants me to apply for my practical. Which is really really quite frightening to me. He says he's confident that I'll be alright. I haven't even done Bay Parking, the other parking or driven on a dual carriageway yet ;_

Instructors like to make you apply early. I don't know why. But I guess you might pass if you do it in a month's time, though I didn't. Perhaps it is best to do the first one before you're ready and fail, rather than do the first one when you're ready and... also fail. I... don't know.
