i am repeating this basically because it bears repeating. *grin* so there! ;) (i posted this, firstly, over at sync_slaying)

this is mondolifically frakin' cracki' bloody boffin' BRILLIANT! every song bit matched their corresponding chcaracter so well that it could be their theme song and play whenever they first enter a room or the scene! ;) NOT that i'm saying that's a WISE move, but wow! they could each make quite the opening in a WWE match...NOT saying that i watch THAT or anything, but stiiilllll...;) *grin*

anyhoo, my fave part? the 1 min-ish marker where you blend martha & rose together in a similar position when the songs conjoin more directly. very clever editing move!!!! :) so - 5000 million billon trillion thumbs up dudette on this latest vid-effort of yours!!! ~your pal, Sharma

That was awesome! You did an AMAZING job using a very unconventional type of song and it turned out fantastic. Listening to the lyrics, I never realised until now how well those songs fit the characters. I loved the bit at the end where Dream On starts to slow down and it's all the Doctor's companions leaving him, it's so sad and true.

Sheer brilliance. :).

Thank you so much! The fact that the Donna sectioned mentioned Wonderwall really cemented it. I remembered how much of an underlying presence Rose was in "The Runaway Bride." And I'm glad you picked up on the ending. The Doctor's emo is quite grand, lol.

HWG, I loved this. What a great choice of song and amazing job with editing each respective companion with their portion of the mash up/remix. This is really a unique idea and I believe brilliantly executed. Of course, perfect pacing and timing. I think my favorite portion was at 2:53 (with the Tardis overlay of the Doctor from 42) and the hands at 3:13. Ooh and I also loved 4:04 - 4:10. Oooh I also loved the Doctor portion from 4:10 to 4:20 (Dream On is a great song!). And just to round it out, fantastic way to end with showing him saying goodbye to the companions are showing them leaving. Okay, so you had a lot of great parts. Loved it!

Please do! I've actually been finding it that depending on the song and tone, of course, that I've been sort of editing more musically. That makes no sense, but it's all to do with the rhythm of the cutting and different things you try, etc. Anyway, experiment away!

1:00 Rose and Martha quick fades back and forth here is SO COOL! Similar clips/positions YAY! And then at 1:02 with the Ten/Rose intercutting on Rose, WOW! That looks freaking awesome. Does that have some zooming involved?? How'd you do!?!
