The scene with Shaz calling out for her mother followed by Alex crying out that she did it cemented the theory for me. There's too much there to ignore.

I think Alex is under the pier/overpass/boardwalk/thing on the shore and is looking at/holding her daughter's body. That explains the coldness and the wetness that she is also experiencing.

I do think that her pops may turn out to be a not so good guy though.

The Spooks clip certainly brought the lulz.

AH! It's funny but I had never connected the freezing to be Molly's body. I just thought it was Alex being wet and the London breeze making her chilly, lol. But YAR! You are so right. We've got the staging all figured out. *nods approvingly*

Yup. I'm betting he was revealed to be just that. Although I'm still gonna be mad if he's doing it out of crazy revenge for infidelity. But don't tell me cuz the finale already aired and you've most certainly seen it.

Haven't read the theory yet (but will in a bit, am sort of tired, but also sort of drunk and hence un-sleepy), BUT I DIDN'T EVEN REMEMBER THAT ZOE BIT AND IT ALL CAME BACK TO ME JUST NOW! A++! (Also, I like Alex Drake better than Zoe Reynolds, even though she's like our Ms. Reynolds. Did I mention the drinking? I still have S4 of Spooks unwatched, cause it just sucks withOUT (eta did I mention the drinking?) our Mrs. Reynolds. Wine. Whisky. Wine. Hey, at least there was no beer. Mixing wine and beer is generally a bad idea. Plus, I'm really more of a whisky girl than I am a beer girl. And if I'm going to continue this run-on brainstorm of a comment, I won't ever get around to read the theory. But I will probably mostly drool at the pictures. And should probably start the download. I didn't even realize it was Thursday already. That's just sort of pathetic.)

I can't remember why I resisted the A2A thing for so long. And I would've ordered LoM already, if I weren't away next week which is not a good time to order packages, cause the mailman leaves them on the doorstep and I live in a fricking city and not out in the country somewhere.

LMAO!!! Oh I so wish I was drunk. In the A2A craze last week when I all I was doing after work was watching Spookz and editing the "Ashes to Ashes" vid, I drank SO MUCH WINE! OMG. It was in honor of Alex but of course! :P I want some whiskey now. There was vanilla vodka with dinner. Not the same.

Spookz! SO MUCH LOVE! It's funny, but yeah, Alex > Zoe Reynolds liek woah. (Who is indeed "ours," lol. inara223 was like, "Ugh, it sounds like a bad fanfic!" Heeee! Yus.) She's such a strange girl. I just want to pat her all the time. :/ *pats Zoe*

Let me make sure I've got your theory correct. Molly was shot by Layton and Alex went over the deep end mentally. So, now she's trapped in her head/fantasy where Molly's alive and Alex has to go back to her.

You know what I find interesting about this show? Alex's sureness that everything's in her head causes you to ponder some of her inconsistent reactions to events. When Alex takes something as truth in her 80's world, should we as well? I think the writers are trying to lead us in that direction, giving them the bset opportunity to deliver to us a whopper of a mindf**k at the end of the series.

Did you see episode 8 yet? That gives us so much to talk about in terms of Alex's world.

Yup. You got it. Molly was shot and Alex, unable to process it, created this fantasy where she was the one that got shot and then went to 1981 (where another traumatic event in her life occurred).

You know what I find interesting about this show? Alex's sureness that everything's in her head causes you to ponder some of her inconsistent reactions to events. I think this is HUGE clue on part of the show. Alex is just SO CERTAIN she knows what's going on that it HAS to be something she's not even realizing. Hence The Theory. ;)

LMAO! I've literally been recovering from the episode. It was just...it gutted me (but in a very fantastic way). And I've started another A2A vid so...eeeps! Haven't had the proper time to post.
