I know I'm supposed to ignore this but...U of I has a great theatre departmet...I mean they have so much especially with Krannert...so consider double majoring, or even just minoring in theatre!

Oh I KNOW they do, but because it is so selective, non-theatre majors can't minor or double major here at the U of I.

And shame on you for not ignoring this! Hahah just kidding I love you, Livvy♥

Nope theatre is in the fine arts college...and I'm quite positive you can't double in theatre at the U of I, I searched for a really long time back when I was looking for colleges, and I remember that was a huge thing that really turned me off from it. You CAN double degree across colleges, just not if your primary major is in LAS.

okay div... so I talked with my mom today. She says that Parkland offers an A.A. in Theatre Arts (FTHE AA). It's not a major, but then again parkland doesn't offer full majors only associates. BUT the theatre arts program is transferrable if you wanted to continue with the program at UofI or possibly other schools for the remaining 2 years. It still offers an associate in theatre and at community college price.

that's what I was tyring to tell you during goverment today. It's all in the class schedule summer 2007 booklet for P-land.

just another option if U of I isn't working out all the way.

Ooohh yes I see! Unfortunately, my parents wouldn't pay extra for me to take theatre classes, which is why I didn't consider that option...If I was double majoring in theatre, I'd have to do it without them knowing, cuz they don't support me, so yeah :-(

Thank you for the idea though!
