Jury Duty

I have been summoned to jury duty next week. Apparently, I was supposed to go sometime in April and failed to appear. I don't know what they are talking about as I don't recall receiving notice to serve in April. In any case, I can't postpone and if I don't call in next week then I could be charged a heavy fine and or face jail time for failure

Sorry you are getting crap. Point out in the employee handbook where it says that all employees are given time to serve jury duty. And everyone knows that jury duty is no fun. Its not like you asked for it.
