RIP Alice Ghostley

I was at the gym last night watching Designing Women and saw the following at the end of the episode, "In Memory Of: Alice Ghostley August 14, 1926 - September 21, 2007".

She died on Friday at her home in Studio City. I loved her as Bernice on Designing Women. She almost never failed to make me laugh. Rip Ms. Ghostley.

Awww, I really liked her. That woman was in a little bit of everything for a while. I swear her face shows up in more classic Hollywood films.

I guess she counts as the 2nd celebrity of the 3. (They say they always go in 3s, right?) The first was Marcel Marceaux (sp?). Now Alice. :-(

I am so behind on the news. I had no idea Marcel Marceaux died. In 3's indeed, eep.

She was quite the working actress; very impressive. I remember she played Stanley's mother on The Golden Girls (another of my favorite shows).
