Re Goji Berries, check out local supermarket our Tesco sells a HUGE bag for £7.99 or thereabouts. Never had them before but you might find local supermarket cheaper than health food shop. Also sorry regarding your next stage of your journey, could you not do anything through Servas.

Hello Holmesfan. I found this and your LJ via a link I was reading in mojomom's lj post about her visit with Futurecatnz. Probably because of our bookring connection earlier this week, I clicked on your name; probably would not have done so if I hadn't just recognized it! :-)

There is macular degeneration in my family (my grandmother had it for the last 20 years or so of her life) so I am always on the lookout for info in the hope that I might be able to learn more and stave it off, myself, if it is, indeed in my (hopefully distant) future. I have copied and saved the article you posted and will pass it along to my mom, as well. Thanks!

Hi Jessibud, Glad the connection found this for you. Shall I 'friend' or do you have too many? My entries are mainly not public but at the time I wanted other family members not on LJ to be able to access this info.
I recall something more recent about m.d. research although not exactly what. Checked in google and there research on this condition seems ongoing and very up to the minute.
